Good design should appeal to both sexes and Thomas O’Brien’s Cynthia decanter does exactly that. The etched crystal decanter was designed to hold whiskey and, you would think, have a more masculine bent. But in a light amethyst blue and with soft curves, the decanter has a stylish, even slightly feminine feel. This isn’t the type of barware to keep hidden in a cupboard, it’s the showpiece for the counter.
